Hi. I've recently installed Divinci Resolve again after seeing that it now supports ATI cards. However, after installing it and running it, it simply closes after "Looking for a control surface." The same problem is shown here: forum(DOT)blackmagicdesign(DOT)com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=11877&p=74715&hilit=resolve+won%27t+start#p74715
I'm trying to use the Lite version. When I installed the program, a cmd window came up and a bunch of things were blocked by a firewall. I assume this might have something to do with it. However, I turned off all of my firewalls and it still has the same installation error. Is there any way I can get Resolve to work?
My specs:
Windows 8 64 bit
AMD Radeon HD 7570
Intel Core i7
24 GB ram
