I just upgraded to 10.9.5. Have tested my Intensity Pro card with Desktop Video 9.9.2 on Media Composer 7.0.3 and seems to work fine. Final Cut Pro 7.0.3 is a different story. I get a strange audio delay on playback where audio does not play at first, then follows video in a delay of several seconds. Weird. Anyone seen this in FCP 7?

Hi,

working with Resolve in 10.9.5, and so far for me it seems better than 10.9.4...

had some crashes during renders, but much less than 10.9.4.

Hello,
For those having FCP7 trouble, it seems that the best way to avoid problems on Mavericks is to upgrade from a disk image of Snow Leopard or ML : it's a sort of heavy duty but works...
So make a dmg (with Carbon Copy Cloner or SuperDuper) of a SL or ML system on which FCP7 is installed, then upgrade to the last Mavericks.
Don't know if this trick is still efficient on this version
*MacMini M1 16 Go - Ext nvme SSDs on TB3 - 14 To HD in 2 x 4 disks USB3 towers
*Legacy MacPro 8core Xeons, 32 Go ram, 2 x gtx 980 ti, 3SSDs including RAID
*Resolve Studio everywhere, Fusion Studio too
