EXSYS 1025 Expansion Box - Intensity Pro

PostTue Apr 08, 2014 9:58 pm

Hi,

I ordered a PCIe Expansion Box from exsys to work with an Intensity Pro on my notebook. The Card is recognized by lspci, the blackmagic module is loaded, ls /dev/blackmagic* lists one device file "/dev/blackmagic/card0".

If I start Mediaexpress no preview is shown. Also capture is not working. The mediaexpress software has no verbose option, so I have no clue what the problem is. I'm not sure if it is a configuration problem (I tested HDMI HD25p and 25i) or if the expansion box causes the problems.

Update: "bmdcapture" throughs some ACCESS DENIED Errors.

Pointers are welcome. Thanks in advance.

I don't have any experience with Linux but my understanding with Windows/Mac is that the card must be directly input onto the motherboard of the computer in order for it to function properly.
