Testing App without hardware

hi, I'm Making an app with Black Magic Design SDK and I was wondering if it's possible to test the behavior of the app without having physical hardware something like any simulator or dev kit or something. the company that needs the app is using Decklink 4K Extreme and I can't afford to get one myself just for one project. is there any workaround
