So i'm exploring to see if it would be possible to make an Audio Video Sync application that tells you if it is off, and how much.
We all know the Beep Flash videos or maybe even Sync-it boxes that flash and beep together with a clock.
But normally you check this by recording a bit, Put it on a timeline in NLE and check if it matches.
What would be interesting is to build an app that uses the decklink card to analyze the beep and the flash and calculate the difference in between.
Just wondering how accurate would the decklink be in this? Will the accuracy be the same on different computers?, can there be a difference / latency be between the audio and video stream ?
Some insight from a Decklink professional would be appreciated
