FFMPEG output to Decklink Duo Buffered video frames problem

PostThu Dec 21, 2023 2:20 pm

Hi,
I am using FFMPEG to decode UDP stream and output SDI using Decklink Duo.

Everything works perfectly for a few hours, after few hours I start getting "There are not enough buffered video frames. Video may misbehave!" errors.

running FFMPEG in debug log level and looking at the "Buffered video frames", it seems the number is more or less 30 for a few hours, and then starts to gradually drop. At 2 buffers the above error starts.

below is a graph showing the buffered video frames over time, the time scale is hours.

any thoughts ?

Maybe it comes from your UDP stream and not linked to the Decklink ?
