Controlling Teranex from Linux

As Linux has incorporated Thunderbolt for more than a year now, we would like to set up a digitization station using the Teranex and a Linux (Debian/ubuntu) computer..

I was wondering about having Linux support for Teranex, has anyone worked with it before? Is it possible to control the device easily? Does Blackmagic Media Express Linux version control, capture, and playback on Teranex? Or does Blackmagic intend on providing a Linux Software for Teranex soon?
