Where is gone legacy driver page?

PostTue Aug 26, 2014 11:10 am

Hello.
I wish to experiment coding some application supporting decklink devices under linux.
Main software support comes from the MLT framework.
I bought an old decklink extreme pci on the electronic baya (i'm not so rich for a new decklink card :D) and plan to use an old (another thing from the bay) dual xeon celsius 610 with ubuntu operating system.

Starting with Lubuntu 14.04 have no success 'cause latest drivers (wich compile on thw 2014 OS) are too new to support old cards. Old drivers requires old packages that are no more supported by OS.

I regressed to ubuntu 12.04 ... and tried everything until decklink driver 7.9.4 .... but still no card displayed in the blackmagic GUI tool ......

Searched for older drivers but the "legacy drivers" box quoted in some threads disappear :-(

Any hint?

Thanks a lot,

Federico Allegretti
