Media Express Crashing

I'm currently using Media Express (3.3.1a4). It has been crashing fairly regularly, the last error I got was:

MediaExpress crashed with SIGABRT in raise()

I'm using Ubuntu 12.04.3 64bit

Any ideas?

I have the same problem. I have installed the latest version of Desktop Video and MediaExpress in a new Ubunru 14.04 lts system. I only can capture the first time I click on the capture button. The second time MediaExpress crashes and I must restart the program.
