Video playback with native SDK

PostMon Mar 09, 2015 11:47 pm

I currently use the native decklink SDK to output key/fill type graphics. I need to add some video playback with the graphcis and am looking for resources how to mix the two. I have used direct show for video playback but not while using the native SDK. I'm using c#. I'm using the standard callback with the IDeckLinkMutableVideoFrame parameter to draw the output from in memory bitmaps.

Thanks,
Brian

Hi Brian,

Could I trouble you to share with me your code that Displays a static Bitmap I have been pulling out my hair to try and get a working example but my graphics always render wrong.

I used their Example GdiExample.cpp however despite best efforts to port C++ to .NET It just isnt right.

Can you share please?

I have code that plays only TGA images. Might be enough to get you started.

Used it for my church's preservice slides before going to CasparCG.

It is based on the SignalGen example.
