10.3.x breaks WDM input into Chrome

PostThu Apr 02, 2015 11:04 am

Hello! We recently used the WDM functionality to ingest 4 x 720p5000 source into Chrome and compose in realtime with WebGL and Three.JS. This functionality only seems to work on the 1.2.x branch (1.2.2 we downgraded to).

This doesn't work in the recent drivers, i haven't tested 10.4.0 but seeing no change on that part i guess it's broken.

Please fix this wonderful functionality!

HI Jonas-
Thanks for your email. Have you tried 10.4 yet that came out on March 31? Also, Which board failed here? Have you opened a support ticket with Chrome team?

Blackmagic Design is testing WDM with video editing apps as mentioned in our website like Cyberlink, Nero and Magix. In developer support, we are focused on the cross platform Blackmagic Design C++ SDK.

There are some development platforms and vendors that provide additional direct show filters and extended feature development for windows APIs. I believe several also participate in our forums.

Thanks. Matt
