Need SDK for Switchers: New character generator

PostThu Jun 04, 2015 12:41 pm

Hi,
We're a tech startup that's creating a radically different/cutting-edge character generator solution and we'd like to integrate with the Blackmagic technology.

Could you help us with the following?
-A: Find the complete documentation.
-B: Suggestions/things we should take into account.

Thank you so much!

Are you looking for desktop video solution using Decklink and the desktop video SDK or the ATEM SDK running on separate computer to use the ATEM for CG solution? Most CGs are computer based using dedicated graphics processors or CPUs with graphics embedded capability which then use video input and output pcie cards or external boxes.

Both product SDKs are easily accessed by visiting the support area, selecting the type of product, and scrolling down on lower left side to download the SDKs. All you need to do is complete registration to download instantly. The download includes a full manual for each of the SDKs.

We do not provide system architecture services or suggestions for the remaining things that you might incorporate in your solution. If you need additional support about BMD products that you cannot see in products information area or support area, please send PM.

Hi Matt,

Could we schedule a quick call to talk about this? I'd like to see if you could clear some things up for me regarding what you just replied.

Thanks!
