4kPRO "Full Duplex"?

PostMon Jun 22, 2015 10:00 pm

I need to know if the 4k Pro can do what I need it to do.

Can the 4k Pro Capture video, RECORD VIDEO TO A FILE (.avi, .mp3) AND stream video all at the same time?

I know it's supposed to be full duplex but I need to know if it can do all 3 tasks simultaneously.

Yes it is full duplex one channel or dual link SDI using both connectors with Fill and key out.
There is small delay due to processing from input to output but our goal is less than 2 frames on full transfer from input on SDI input ports to SDI output ports.

This is not a streaming board or an encoder. It does not write compressed files to disk and then send them out in a different format. All of that operation is up to the developer and their program outside of our Decklink card.

Decklink Pro 4K process uncompressed video up to 12G SDI frame rates to capture and playback SMPTE standard video formats.
