Is there a test rig?

PostSun Sep 20, 2015 9:43 pm

Hi, this may sound like a weird question, but I'm wondering if there's a test rig in the SDK, or if there's some sort of "virtual switcher" that I can run to help me develop for the ATEM switch without having to be connected to a physical unit.

Specifically, I would like to have a dummy program that acts like an ATEM switch so I can work on a software project without having to have the actual switch available. I'd like to be able to code on my laptop when not at the office, and having a way to run a virtual switcher would make my life a lot easier.

I have not seen a virtual switcher, you can open your office network to allow you to work from home.
Provided you have an extra switcher to work with. This is easiest method I know of. Some of the first
gen gear is dropping in price.

There are C++ routines on the internet that talk only with the UDP packets so you could reverse engineer to make a virtual switcher.
