Visual Studio 2015 supported?

PostSun Sep 04, 2016 3:57 pm

I normally have been writing for Linux using Qt. I have a chance to get Visual Studio 2015
and wonder if it is supported by the latest SDK.

Pro's / Con's? Don't really like cloud based tools I think this is the last real on disk Studio offered.

Carlos,

Gracias. I could not find 2010 in Microsoft's store or the programmers warehouse I am ordering from.
I am not sure 2010 is still supported. Most companies are moving to monthly cloud subscriptions
which I don't like. I may have to download the huge free trial and then order the key before the
discount ends.

Thanks again for your reply.

Yes, Visual Studio 2015 supported in latest SDK, The Visual Studio 2015 SDK is no longer offered as a separate download. Instead, Visual Studio Extensibility Tools (SDK and templates) are included as an optional feature in Visual Studio setup.
