Audio sync issue on Duo 2

PostWed Nov 09, 2016 7:24 pm

With an SDI input capture on a Duo 2, we are finding that the audio is delayed about .25 seconds versus the video. Running on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, Either 10.8 or 10.8.1 or 10.8.2 desktop video drivers installed. We've also captured using BMDTools and the built-in ffmpeg decklink capture input method.

We've worked around the problem with post capture processing, but wondered if anyone has had this problem and found a solution?

The audio/video timestamps on the capture were off - especially if the video was hot-swapped on the input jack. By using "-f decklink -audio_pts wallclock -video_pts wallclock -i 'DeckLink Duo . . . " on the ffmpeg command, we're seeing a re-producible resolution to the problem.
