Hyperdeck Ethernet Protocol how to use notify command

PostThu Sep 14, 2017 6:25 am

Not able to understand use case of notify command.

As per my assumption, notify command should notify the changes in states of
⇒remote
⇒slot
⇒configuration
⇒dropped frames

but for being able to notify i must set destination to notify (my program's IP and PORT).
i cant find how to set destination of notification at Hyperdeck.

You have to keep the TCP connection open to be notified by the hyperdeck. The notification is an asynchronous message with code 5xx (e.g. 508 for transport info).
