nothing

Hi,
i think i have installed DaVinciResolve on my Linux Mint 18.2 system, but nothing happens when i try to open the program.

This is what was happening when i was installing:

A shortcut was made in the Menu - clicking on it nothing happens.
I can see stuff present in /opt/resolve.
How to proceed?

It looks like you're trying an early beta installation... Could you try the latest (non-beta) 14.0 installer please?

For yourself and others, try to find another kind of thread title next time... You'd probably have more help.
