How to create an AVI file?

I'm trying to save in a, AVI file the video frames and audio packets I receive in the VideoInputFrameArrived function, but I don't have experience with AVI. Does anyone has a sample on how to do it? Any reference on AVI with Blackmagic will be helpful.
