Recent Win10 update: 10bit capture affected

We've been using "Virtualdub" (*) with Blackmagic Decklink cards successfully for years now.

However, since a recent Windows 10 update (done in December 2017) the preview window for capture is not displayed for >8bpc input formats anymore. Used to work flawlessly before.

Since it's not a change in Virtualdub, but the OS:
Does anyone know about any recent Windows system changes that might be causing this?
