DeckLink 4K Extreme 12G Internal keying on HDMI Out

PostTue Oct 02, 2018 4:54 pm

Previously, I used Extreme 3D with my own (directshow)code for internal keying. It worked on SDI out and HDMI out at the same time.
As extreme 3d has discontinued, we replaced by 4k extreme. My old code works with it, but the internal keying works only on SDI out, but not the HDMI(it always works on external keying).
Should i refresh my old code with a newer DLL (DecklinkFilters.dll), or it is an operating anomaly in the card itself?
I tried with newer and older desktop video driver packs, but it works the same way.

So, i tried the latest SDK, latest DLL-s, and the sample bins from the SDK, and latest drivers, but exactly the same thing happens: internal keying works perfectly on SDI, but it doesn't on HDMI(out). There is always external keying (colormap).
I think there's somethings wrong with the card, or driver, or API.

Is there a chance that the issue will be solved by software(driver) or is it not possible?

Hi Zoltan,

Yes, this is a known issue and will be resolved in a forthcoming release.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
