I've installed desktopvideo_11.1a11_amd64 and desktopvideo-gui_11.1a11_amd64 on Ubuntu 18.04 in a Dell Precision 7530.
then rebooted, but the when I trun DesktopVideoSetup it reports device not found. I'm trying to access the UltraStudio HD Mini via the thunderbolt interface.
Ubuntu report the thunderbolt connection. And it shows in lspci.
$dkms status -m blackmagic
... installed
$dkms status -m blackmagic-io
... installed
Modprobe fails:
$sudo modeprobe blackmagic
modprobe: FATA: module blackmagic not found in directory /lib/modules/4.15.0-47-generic
Suggestion for next steps???
