Display 2160p50 Impossible [Decklink 4K 12G - Linux]

PostMon Jun 10, 2019 9:41 am

Hi,

I have a Decklink 4k 12G under Cento0s 7 (kernel 3.10.957) with latest Desktop Video 11.2 driver.

When using TestPatern binary from 11.2 sdk I was'nt able to display anything when mode is "2160p50"

I did a test with 10.11.4 version with success. But since this version I wasn't able to display anything when mode is "2160p50".

The same board with latest driver on windows 10 is working fine.

Please help me

Hi Nabil,

I was able to run TestPattern sample OK at 2160p50 on my machine. My setup is CentOS 7.6, kernel 3.10.0-957, Desktop Video 11.2 with DeckLink 4K Extreme 12G.

From the Desktop Video Setup application, can you check your output link setting is correct (single-link/dual-link) and that you are outputting YCbCr 422.

Hi Cameron,

My setup is CentOS 7.6, kernel 3.10.0-957, Desktop Video 11.2 with DeckLink 4K Extreme 12G.

From the Desktop Video Setup application, I've checked my output link setting is correct and out put
is YCbCr 422.

But I still can't see anything displayed on SDI or HDMI when using TestPattern sample at 2160p50.

All other modes are working fine.

Nabil

Hi Nabil,

Can you provide the full command for TestPattern so I can check locally?

Thanks

it's possible i define display resoution. Most commonly 4K Ultra HD refers to 3840 x 2160 pixels (referring to the approximately 4000-pixel wide display), which has exactly twice as many pixel rows and columns.
