Atomic Imaging, a Chicago-based full-service film/video production, integrated media, digital imaging and television sound stage/studio rental facility, will be hosting an Open House on Thursday, October 10 from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm featuring Blackmagic Design’s digital video cameras and DaVinci Resolve.
The event will include hands on demonstrations of the Blackmagic Cinema Camera and Pocket Cinema Camera, along with a variety of third party rigs and lenses, as well as DaVinci Resolve 10.
The event will also include presentations from Bob Caniglia, Sr. Regional Manager of Blackmagic Design, and renowned colorist Bob Sliga. Sliga, with more than 30 years of color correction experience in the film, television and commercial world and currently an adjunct professor at Columbia College and DePaul University, will demonstrate Resolve 10’s latest features, along with the workflow between the Blackmagic cameras and DaVinci Resolve.
It addition, complementary products for cinema production will shown, including Sachtler tripods and Teradek Cube wireless transmitters. The Teradek Cubes allow automated wireless realtime recording of proxy files- even when recording RAW Cinema DNG on the Blackmagic camera. The clips can be viewed instantly on iPads- even while the camera is still recording.
