Red Giant, maker of Magic Bullet Looks and other popular video plugins announced today a search for beta testers who would like to test Red Giant's Universe plugins inside of DaVinci Resolve 11.1.
Red Giant Universe is a community that gives members access to fast and powerful free and premium tools for editing, filmmaking, visual effects and motion design. Every tool in the Universe library of effects and transitions is GPU accelerated, both Mac and Windows compatible, and works across multiple host applications. The continuously growing library currently includes 68 post production plugins. Within the 1.2 release you’ll find film aging effects like RetroGrade and Carousel, lens flares with Knoll Light Factory EZ, Holomatrix and Glitch plugins for futuristic and digital looks, and Video to Cartoon filters with rotoscoping ToonIt tools. In addition there are 22 unique transitions and a large selection of high quality blurs, glows, generators and distortion effects.
