Teranex 2D Used for Up Conversion of 'Vanishing Point'

PostTue Jan 22, 2013 6:38 pm

Blackmagic Design today announced that the Teranex 2D Processor was used for up conversion and frame rate conversion of the documentary “VANISHING POINT.”

“VANISHING POINT” is a documentary about the iconic Japanese rock/rockabilly band Blankey Jet City. Directed by Yutaka Onaga, a photographer and video artist, the film follows the band’s last tour in 2000 through 12 cities and 17 concerts. Though the film was initially not released, more than 50 hours of footage was finally edited and completed recently, and the film is now ready to hit theaters in January, 2013, with dramatically improved video and audio.
