Blackmagic Design today announced a new software update for its HyperDeck Studio Pro SSD recorder/player that will add Ultra HD recording in Apple ProRes 422 (HQ) format. This update will be available in May as a free update for all HyperDeck Studio Pro customers. HyperDeck Studio Pro will be demonstrated on the Blackmagic Design NAB 2013 booth at #SL218.
