Dual Heights Software has announced Genifect OpenFX 2.0 plugin. Genifect OpenFX is compatible with the Fusion editor in DaVinci Resolve 15, allowing you to bevel any surface that has fully transparent pixels around it. Combining the bevel filter with the included Bloom filter from the Genifect suite allows you to create spectacular glows on the text as well.
The major new feature in 2.0 is the inclusion of the Materialized Bevel filter which creates advanced bevel and lighting effects for texts and symbols. Using MatCap textures, you can now create realistic lighting effects on 2D text and make it look like it was made out of gold, copper or any other material you want.
