Production Camera 4K Replaced by Mini URSA NOW WHAT?

As an owner or the Production camera 4k, a camera NOT listed on Black Magic's website because they no longer make it a mere year and 1/2 later, replaced by a better model, what happens to the many owners of the 4k model? software updates in future look bleak! and mean why would they spend more money and time on a camera they no longer make? to me this is a problem and I feel Black magic should offer us the opportunity to replace our 4k with the new model free of charge. especially because I had to send my back into them to swap it out because of horrible FPN issues! I had high hopes for this company but to just leave us in the dust, is not right.

The 4K camera is still listed on the web site. It's under Cinema Camera, with the EF & MFT 2.5k cameras. Your camera has not been abandoned.

They're still putting out updates even for their original BMCC, you shouldn't be concerned.
