Board Admin: What attachments are allowed on this board?

PostTue Nov 12, 2019 12:21 pm

I followed the FAQ link to see what the answer might be. This is what I got:
What attachments are allowed on this board?
Each board administrator can allow or disallow certain attachment types. If you are unsure what is allowed to be uploaded, contact the board administrator for assistance.

I don't know who the "board administrator" is, hopefully that person monitors this forum.

1) What file types are permitted as attachment?
2) What is the limit, if any, on attachment file size?

I don't know the complete answer to this so I'll let the admins respond, but I do know that the 1MB limit on uploads leads to having to put things on Google Drive just to provide short videos of bugs. Please increase this limit - even 10MB would be a huge improvement!

Hi avclubvids and Michael.

I spent a few minutes to check this out. You get three image attachments per message post.

Thanks, Andrew. I guess the answer is to wrap it up in a ZIP and keep it less than 1 MB.

Is there a resource on the Forum I missed? I did look at the Forum Software FAQ.
