BMCC 4 K intro

Anyone know when the real release date is for the 4K camera?

The people who would know the most accurate release date would be the engineers working on the camera itself. Even that would probably be an estimate as BMD are breaking new ground with producing a camera with cinema quality at 4K res at the lowest price point by some factor. I guess they are dealing with a lot of unknown unknowns.
So far BMD have not given an exact firm date for BMP4K release but a suggested hopeful time to release that they have missed several times so far.

I also liked the way "Shipping September" became "a suggested hopeful time to release".

They also told me shipping July 2012 for BMCC. A year later I finally got my camera. Best that the OP assumes that all dates from BMD are *suggested*.
