Hi Blackmagic,
A suggestion for forum management.
Consider appointing moderators for this forum. Each time I visit the forum I'm put off by numerous duplicate posts and post that only vent the writers frustrations. It dilutes the usefulness of this forum.
Many other forums on the web (though normally not company sites) appoint moderators from the community to act as 'big brothers' in the friendly sense. They are normally empowered to:
- Delete offensive posts
- Move posts into existing topics
- Change Topic names to be more relevant
- Lock threads etc etc
But the basic idea is that many of the suitable people JB, Capitain Hook et al already have the respect from the other members that would act as an incentive for people to maintain some level of decorum... and they are are already doing this work to some degree...
