Walmart is selling the 1TB WD Black SN750 SE NVMe Gen 4 Solid State Drive SSD + Battlefield 2042 PC Digital Game Code Bundle for $49.99 USD with free shipping.

This SSD is recommended for recording 12K DCI Blackmagic RAW 8:1 at up to 30 frames per second for the URSA Mini Pro 12K when using a M.2 to U.2 adapter and a Blackmagic URSA Mini Recorder. This recorder uses the USB-C 3.1 gen 2 port on the camera.

At continuous bitrate, using the 1TB WD Black SN750 NVMe SSD, if you shoot BRAW 8.1 12K at 30 fps, you record at 452 MB/sec., (3600x452) = (1,627,200/1,000,000)x(49.99)) $81.34 USD per hour.

At continuous bitrate, using the 1TB WD Black SN750 NVMe SSD, if you shoot BRAW 5.1 S16 6K 17:9 at 60 fps, you record at 364 MB/sec., ((3600x364) = (1,310,400/1,000,000)x(49.99)) $65.51 USD per hour.

At a more practical continuous quality Q3, using the 1TB WD Black SN750 NVMe SSD, if you shoot BRAW S16 6K 17:9 at 60 fps, you record at 91.5-455 MB/sec., ((3600x91.5) = (329,400/1,000,000)x(49.99)) $16.47 to $81.88 USD per hour.

If you disregard the BRAW 8.1 452 MB/sec. media tested recommendation, this drive might be capable of recording close to the speed BM advertises of 900 MB/sec. for NVME SSDs. 12K DCI 30 fps Q0 records at 361-1.4 GB/sec. 12K DCI 30 fps Q1 records at 301-1.2 GB/sec. 12K DCI 30 fps Q3 records at 181-903 MB/sec.

Some have used USB adapters for NVME SSDs successfully on the BMPCC 6Ks. This could be a good candidate for experimentation.
