Kicking it old school, much respect.
But can we please have forum software that doesn't literally date back to the Dial-up modem era? Like being able to upload images or *gasp* video to a forum about video software would be kinda nice.

We have a problem with new users putting up clickbait which has nothing to do with Blackmagic cameras:

That's why there is a waiting period before you can post images.

I like the software. Unlike reddit, I am not pestered by it trying to open up ads that slow my phone down by tracking me wherever I go and I have full access to cut and paste. It also runs fast in the hills where reception is spotty.

It reminds me of the old programmers magazine, Dr. Dobbs Journal:

Stephen, I upload images all the time as attachments when trying to help users with a problem. Also no problem with providing a link to a video on YouTube. Direct uploads of videos would soon overwhelm Blackmagic's servers.
As examples here is a pic and a video.

Image uploading works but is clunky.
That said, I think there’s no way they’re going to spend dev resources to switch to something more modern.

I like this. In fact this is the easiest and most convenient forum to use because of its simplicity. Please do not change and ignore any requests of new tech for communication and content. I’m a software developer and long time architect of very large scale software used by fortune 500s and banks. Pretty doesn’t necessarily mean functional. Functional is as functional does… as Forest would say. And I don’t like Reddit because of all the clickbait’s and ads that makes me leave that site altogether.

There’s no problem in sharing photos as long as there is a purpose to do so. Want to share video, post a link to YouTube or Vimeo. Want to share your work, put a link to it here:

Also phpBB - just with a bit (!) more effort...

Fusion is from the dial-up era as well.
