Beware of used / secondhand / blackmarket BMPCC ....
My BMPCC was stolen from my checked luggage aboard an Emirates flight from Rome - Dubai - Perth last Friday. Thank goodness the low life SOB left my lenses, viewfinder etc and only took the $1000 camera.
Unfortunately Emirates won't even talk to me and nor take any liability for the theft, and I don't have any insurance coverage for the camera.
So, now I have to save up again.
Yes I am kicking myself that I put a valuable item in checked luggage (in all the travelling I have done NEVER happened before), but can't you trust an airline to take care of your stuff?
