Firmware

Is there some sort of a way to get the new firmware. Seeing f stops would be so incredibly useful as I learn about this camera and how it works with my old EF lenses. Can a be a firmware beta tester?
I know I am lucky just to have a cam but not seeing f stops is a bit maddening for me.
