Tony's Corner

PostSat Jan 23, 2016 6:25 pm

It has been great having Tony Rivera jump in on threads giving us updates and suggestions.
I suggest that the forum has a thread called Tony's Corner where we can gather with a hot cup of cocoa and Tony can post the latest news so that he does not need to hunt down the posts that need to be addressed.

All in favour +1.

Order your cup of cocoa +2
Order your cup of coffee +3
Order a croissant +4

How dare someone like me have an opinion that doesn't fit with everyone else....can't wait.

Maybe sooner or late everyone will just fall into line and tell BMD how amazing they are.

I also have ocean-front property in Arizona. If you'll buy that I'll throw the Golden Gate in free.

That's a good song. But I really do have a cardigan just like that. Well, my dad did, but now I have it. I'm no Bradley Cooper, though. There's no way I could pull off a bowtie. And lamb is delicious.

I know a member of an indigenous people inhabiting northern Canada, Alaska, Greenland, and eastern Siberia, traditionally living by hunting (especially of seals) and by fishing, who wishes to purchase some ice.(being PC can be long winded)

It would not be considered a "Corner" style chat if he did not wear this attire.

I know that BMD is an Australian company and Australia has many sheep, but I do not know if it is a prerequisite that the staff have livestock.

Sure. +1

Then +2 & +3. Anyone ever try half hot cocoa and half coffee? I drink it all the time because I hate coffee by itself. Love hot cocoa no matter what. Dark hot chocolate mix works best when mixing with coffee. Ghirardelli Premium Hot Cocoa, Double Chocolate is what I go with.

And a chocolate croissant.

Plus, we need the fireside chat armchair option.

Will Pain au chocolat do?

I shall mention your suggestion of the fireside chat armchair option to the producers as long as Inspector Sands can be there.

Hmmmm? Mr Debbie Downer

Maybe so , but Tony is the topic and the thread is about discussing cinematography products in a "virtual homely setting".

Hopefully Tony will be along to unlock the virtual room where we can have updates while enjoying warm drinks and confectionaries of choice.

Be positive, VOTE!!!!

This is a somewhat serious suggestion on my part.

The "natives" are getting restless, something needs to be done to calm them.

You can be part of the problem or the solution.

Hello Tony

How you doin?

Maybe it will be alright to serve hard liquor after 6 pm?

With the different time zones we should be able to generate quite a buzz and keep it going 24 hours a day.

Cheers

Well I can't comment on who looks better than who but I will say I've got a better tan than the gentleman in the picture. Also, I'm sure he got paid to take that picture whereas I've haven't gotten money for any of the pictures I've been in.

And Tony, how about a stuffed animal? Or, a cat? I have a cat that won't get off my lap whenever I'm trying to work at my computer. All my color grades have cat hair in them. LOL!

Not so much a monocle man myself. Nor a cigarette guy, unless we've had quite a few drinks  .

As far as uniforms go, I think I may pass on the exact one shown in the picture but I have worn others in my lifetime (the gigs you do as a musician...)

Now animals on the other hand, I prefer dogs but I suppose I could steal a stuff animal from one of my nieces since they have so many that get ignored anyways. :P

Tony

What do you think of the idea of having a central post by you, letting the forum know what's what?
Do not want to paint you into a corner, just putting the idea out there.

In this instance "No news is good news" does not work. Some news is better than none.

Will understand if it cannot be done.

Now now Leon, that's getting off topic. ;)

As far as posting information for you all here, I do it as often as I have something to offer other than what another BMD employee or myself has already said. We definitely want the users to interact with each other and have solid, positive communication about the products. I know from seeing the regularly active and new people pop up on the forums that things are the most ideal when we have information for you and that's what I've tried to do as soon as I'm able. Hopefully we can have more of that moving forward and we can grow together as a community and as a company to better fit our customers needs.
