Hey guys,
Any of you guys ever had a problem with accidentally ramming the wrong lens on to the camera breaking or bending the Contact pin that allows the camera to talk to the lens (EF mount). Well, I bought a BMCC 2.5k for cheap because 3 of the 8 pins was broken, but it really looks more like it's cut. The camera itself works perfectly, just no talk between camera and lens. I attach the image so you guys know what I mean.
It's an easy fix, remove the old pins and add the new ones. I talk to a rep and was told they would fix it for me for $100 plus shipping to and from their shop. -___- too much. Anyone know a company that would sell such parts. or can anyone help me finish the solidworks design of the contact pin I've created, I'm still having a bit of trouble closing so the bottom part of the pin doesn't come out. Like so
