Video over IP

Does anyone know when the Video over IP launches? I saw it on a showroom floor. Any info on it?

What type of Video over IP are you referring to, the Internet? If so, Video over IP is here now, UTube, NetFlex, Skype, teleconferencing, is all Video over the Internet, etc. Or, are you referring to video over an internet phone specifically as in "voice over IP" where phone systems use the internet vs traditional dedicated ATT switch lines, or other specific video over IP application?

They have a 4 SDI to ethernet cable for video over internet protocol. You use one as encoder and one as decoder.

Kris is referring to the "Teranex mini - IP video 12G" being shown at various trade shows.
At IBC it had the price of 455€ on the stand.

I was at a trade show and they had 0 info on it, so couldn't name what it was and they didn't have literature.

The BM representative said it would come out in a few months.. But he was also surprised it wasn't announced at the same time as the other new stuff at the show so who knows..
