Hello,
We’ve got a feature film going into pre-production and are seeking passionate up and comers and seasoned vets to fill key crew positions. All roles are fully paid and rates are negotiable. Production will be non-union and independently financed.
About the Director:
Jonathan Kutner has directed and produced award winning short films, music videos and commercials for the past 10 years and worked with Oscar nominated and Golden Globe winning actors including Sally Kirkland and Marla Gibbs. His background is in cinematography/coloring and he seeks a close collaboration on all visual aspects.
Project: Dark Sin
“No Country For Old Men meets Seven”
A series of ritualistic murders plague a small town while an unlikely pair of detectives track down the murderer in this film noir style psychological thriller.
Positions we’re looking for:
Cinematographer
Production Designer
Editor
Sound Designer
Music composer
1st AD
Casting Director
Cinematographer: We’re looking for someone with an exceptional eye for detail and cinematic sensibilities. As a DP himself, the director is looking for a collaboration on a very deep visual level to support the feel and style of this film.
Production Designer: We’re looking for someone with a great sense of scope and a willingness to explore creative possibilities with the director and cinematographer. Someone who embraces the less is more approach and has a strong attention to detail is highly desirable.
Editor: We’re looking for a very detailed and organized individual with a great attitude and willingness to try many different approaches.
Sound Designer: We’re looking for someone who can take on the responsibility for crafting original sound landscapes and full sound emersion.
Music composer: We’re looking for someone to help the director explore an original moving score that encapsulates the feel and essence of the characters and story.
1st AD: We’re looking for someone who can be the director’s right hand and help manage the cast and crew. This individual will be instrumental in keeping everything moving smoothly on set and making sure we hit our targets and make our days.
