BlackMagic Hyperdeck Shuttle as Media Player

I am trying to find a solution for displaying a 2min13sec long uncompressed video 1024x768 4:3 in an exhibition. I read that the Hyperdeck shuttle is able to playback uncompressed footage in a loop by pressing the play button twice. Does it also output any audio?
Do you think i can somehow use it to play back my footage on a 4:3 Plasma screen (VGA input or YPbPr Input) ?
I would use a hdmi to vga adapter but i dont know if the hyperdeck can send the right resolution and if not i dont know if its possible to cut/throw away the parts of the image i dont need to make it fit into the 4:3 1024x768 px screen.
Can anyone help me out how to make it possible?
