Blu_Ray Menus creation for Mac

PostSun Feb 04, 2018 12:53 am

I don’t really burn DVDs or Blu Rays for clients much now a days, but when it happens, I used to use iDVD or just the export menu in Final Cut Pro. But to my recent horror, it seems that the DVD menu has decayed so bad, I’m trying to find a good alternative. Heard Toast was good, but they don’t show videos on how it works now a days. I bought the App Store version, and it’s worse then the Final Cut one. Any suggestions, and ones that support Blu Rays? I want really control, like what bottoms appear, the fonts, and additional menus, and motion backgrounds.

Long ago, I used Adobe Encore for authoring Blu-Ray. It pretty well covers all the bases. The workflow is a little peculiar—takes some experimentation to get good results.

Encore hasn't been included in the Creative Cloud, but you should still be able to access CS6 with a Premiere subscription.
