anyone know what this indicates

I can see this only on my Windows machine. Apple devices do not show this.
This is on the home page of the BMD website

They're using a font that your browser doesn't support. It's supposed to be an invisible character.

edit: I'm not sure what the character's intended function is. Some kind of specialized newline?

Looks like the release date Sept. which Grant said was the target date.

That is what I thought until I saw that the Atem product on the right states available now.
