Windows & Linux Machine Builds

PostThu May 10, 2018 3:56 pm

Is there a post where people have listed there working custom workstation builds? For Resolve. Especially now it includes Fusion. I mean aside form The official black magic supported hardware.

I cant seem to find anything.

It would be nice to have a place to come to grab workstation specs that have been tested and working well.
Cheers,

Ian

I have been using a similar build with a couple of Titan Xp for a couple of weeks now and its very good.

I can share that build in detail if you want. Its a pretty pricey build. It could be more pricey if you went to workstation builds with more than 2 GPUs. Actually you can put 3 in this build if you dont want anything else. We also have a dual xeon workstation in house that has 4 GPUs in it and I can share the specs on that too. All the pcie slot are 16 so it can really move pixels.

We are talking about 7k for the first and about 15 on the other.
Cheers,

Ian
