I would like to take advantage of the Ursa Mini Pro’s AES input by building a receiver that will pair with the manufacturer’s transmitters. Instead of buying their expensive DA converters and preamps I would just take the AES digital signal into the UPM. What would I need in addition to a USB wyfi stick and an XLR adapter? I’m assuming I need a chip that will pair the devices and shift frequencies.

Just get yourself instead a Lectrosonics SR and take the AES output from that. Much simpler than DIY
