SSD Storage- Organization

PostFri May 03, 2013 4:28 pm

With the advent of SSD video-recording I'm not certain what is the best/safest way to label and store the drive. Currently, I am labeling the box only and storing the drive back in its original packaging. I'm guessing that the only safe place to label the drive is on the "end" that will be jutting out of the recorder. Is anyone aware of a label media that is designed for this purpose, or, if not, what may be a safe alternative?

As far as storage, is anyone aware of any compartmentalized shelving/storage systems that would allow me to store the drives in a safe ready-to-use pull and insert procedure?

Thanks!
