Be careful using VFX for YouTube videos

I've just had a couple of my videos demonetized by YouTube and nobody can work out why -- except perhaps that I used tracking to add a billboard with innocent (non-offensive) graffiti into a scene.

It seems that Resolve/Fusion is so good that the hobbits at YouTube couldn't tell it wasn't real and perhaps they think that showing such graffiti sets a bad example.

Sigh!

Could it be that because there are shown a couple of brand names? Like Shadow.

And youtube algoritm thinks you already showing brands/ products so it disables monitizing as they think you already advertise products. ;)

I doubt it's anything to do with brands being shown... I review a lot of products on another channel and have never had a video demonetized on that.

I have been a VFX artist for nearly a decade, and have never had an issue with demonetizing for anything close to that. Youtube's algorithms don't care about graffiti or anything of that nature. Not sure why you were demonetized, but replacing a billboard isn't anything that would kick up their sensors.
