fixing the lower thread of the BMPCC?

PostTue Feb 05, 2019 5:35 pm

Hey!

I've bought a used BMPCC and noticed that the lower thread wobbles inside a little bit. So its not firm.
Is there any possibility to get it firm? Maby to get it out and glew it?

Greetings

Not really, it is a helix thread, you coukd try epoxy around it. The best solution is to put the camera in a cage, like the Wooden Camera Pocket Cage, that secures the Camera using both the top and bottom screws.

the thing is, i have a cage (Black Cage), but it seems not to solve the problem really good. Maby its not really for the BMPCC, although it seems so. So it seems, i need a new cage
