Blackmagic Design cine lenses

Hello, I understand BMD usually looks into these forums so this question is directed towards them; Has Blackmagic ever considered creating their own line of cine lenses? From what I can see the market for high-end cinema lenses could really benefit from the innovative mindset of Blackmagic.
