In the manual of the nitrotech n8 it says, i must disengage tilt and pan bake and the friction.
What do you say about this? Good recommendation?

If it is still in lock / friction mode and it gets a hit while in transport, Your dampening system breaks inside and you trow it away. So always!! disengage!

Transport in a tripod bag or hard cover specially made for tripods.

Curious. I always engage Tilt Lock for storage and transport.

I do use a bag, though.
